BTC operator training simulators have the same appearance and features as actual power plant control rooms. Therefore, observational and operational training can be performed with the same sensation as real operation.
BTC possesses 3 simulators in total, which represent the three different generations of control panels that have been adopted by BWR nuclear power plant control rooms in Japan. These control panels and the console in the instructor room are linked to the simulation computers. These control panels can be manipulated by the instructors and by the trainees.
